The system consists
of a series of portable keyboards, each with own ID number
and battery powered, several antennas and one control unit(called
Master) connected to a PC for elaboration of results.
Before the meeting, using appropriate software, all the
questions are prepared. When the question are presented,
the people attending can answer, even simultaneously, pressing
one or more keys, according to the request. The answers
expressed are placed into memory inside the keyboard. The
control unit, when order to do so, ask each pads to send
back one by one the memorized vote. The meeting may be held
in a single room in the same building or even in different
towns using tele-conference system.

What are the difference between our system and the others?
Our system is the only
one in the international market to use several
antennas working on the same frequency. The
system is especially designed to grant that all votes are
captured, this permit to manage every kind of application
as you can see from our references.
This powerful
feature, has been obtained acting on these main direction:
• MULTIANTENNA
system to cover large space, with emission certified and
compatible to the EEC European rules (868.35 MHz) and
American FCC (916.15 MHz). Other system using only one
Base Station are, sometimes, obliged to radio emission
stronger than allowed.
• It is the only MONOFREQUENCY SYSTEM,
able to capture all votes, even if the meeting is organized
on the different floor.
• Continuous control of each pad status from the
main computer through the “stand
by” mode.
• High quality level control during production.
• Very high speed polling (290 pads, for sec.).
• 100 % reliability.
• Very low power consumption (no battery recharging
system).
TECHNICAL
FEATURES:
- Up to 32 antennas
for large covering (up to 30.000 sqm) Usually 1000 people
meeting is well covered by 4 antennas.
- Capability to perform both secret and open voting.
- Voting in multiple choice mode (up to 9 digits can be
stored in the pad). The polling speed doesn’t change
up to three digit.
- RS232/USB communication port between Master.
- RS485 cable to connect antennas to the Master (three
lines are available for an easy setting up).
- 110-240 VAC – 12 VDC 1.5 A for Master and antennas
power supply.
- 9 Volt DC alkaline battery for TLV 04 and n.3 AAA alkaline
battery for TLV 06.
SOFTWARE
APPLICATIONS:
Logos Av Com has developed a powerful
software named Show-Vote 2004, which is constantly upgraded
at the address www.logosav.com/download/showvote_2004.zip
The software need an USB hardware key to be run. This guarantees
a creativeness without limits, tied up to the enormous graphic
possibilities offered by the program Power Point, and it
allows to manage also votes and results in a complex way.Data
can be exported into Excel for further elaboration. A demo
version of Show vote 2004, with some demo files, is also
available for free on the web site.
On demand, we provide to our
customer all protocols necessary to realise software.
